Ahh I totally missed this! Thank you for sharing your point of view, it's a shame volume 1 didn't fully deliver but I'm still intrigued, may pick it up and try it sometime in future. It's interesting that the plot seems so far from the expectations I had for it from the cover/blurb though haha.

Yeah, honestly the blurb does not sell it properly at all lol. I know I complained a fair bit in the review, but I'm going to stick with it for at least Volume 2 because I have heard it genuinely starts to improve and move away from some of the things I didn't like (like making Chitose somewhat likeable!), so hopefully that proves correct. :)
