I'd personally like to see adult swim on Channel 4, as a general adult animation segment. While shows like Bleach, FMA, Hack etc are on Animecentral is start however they are all overwhelmingly marketed at teenagers personally I'd like to see a bit more edgier anime/comedy on tv.

Paranoia Agent, Monster and the new dub of Crayon Shin-chan of course not forgetting my Aqua Teen and Venture Bros fix all deserve decent UK air time. A lot of these shows are overlooked and that in my mind is criminal.

I know what you mean, Bravo seem to have been neglecting Adult Swim as of late (that time they shown the Afro Samurai movie none withstanding) I haven't seen Robot Chicken on there in ages. I thought that Channel 4 would of jumped at the chance to have it, seeing as it fitted their kind of programmes anyway. Plus i noticed that Modern Toss was aired on Channel 4 at one point before being taken to Adult Swim so maybe there's something there. Of course that is wishful thinking.

FMA again? .... -_-

Play something new which I haven't seen like 727161 times please.

I argee, my fear is that in january they revert to the programs they first started showing before airing something new. Though i've heard rumors that Gundam Seed will be appearing on that channel when they next add new shows...

There really is a market out there for adult animation. Unfortunately TV execs seem to think the Simpsons is all we need and that stopped being funny around 1999.

Starting boxing day

26th 6.05 Porco Rosso
27th 6.35 Nausicaa Valley of the Winds
28th 6.20 Lupin : Castle of Cagliostro
31st 12.35 Princess Mononoke

Source digiguide.

I was just looking through Radio Times. These times are in 24-hour display, so that's 6.05 AM for Porco Rosso. Set your alarms... or your recorders.

Can't be, Film4 isn't even in transmission at that time.

The ones listed are C4. There are one or two more on Film4.

A while yet for this one....

Laputa: Castle in the Sky will air on Filmfour 17th January 14.35

Seems Channel 4 (an it's offspring) really are running a Ghibli season.

Missed Porco Rosso today/yesterday, Just set all the rest I want to record. I still have Totoro to watch as well actually. =/

I wonder if I will actually get around to watching 'em.

Gah, I was hoping to get up early this morning and watch Castle of Cagliostro .... but I was on the phone with a friend until, like, 3.30 last night and there was no way I'd be able to get up after 3 hours of sleep! It just looks like I'm going to have to buy Cagliostro at last!

Saw virtually all of it, for the first time as well. :D

Great watch, as with most of his works.
