Castle of Cagliostro on Film 4.

This movie is fantastic, I definitely recommend it, though I've heard horrible things about the dub and I've never bother checking it out as a result.

I know they call him Wolf instead of Lupin but other than that it's pretty good.

Is this the one with David Hayter as Lupin? If so, DO WANT.

"Snaaaaake!"

..Aside from that I'd quite like to check the film out, a friend fiercely recommended it to me so I owe it a watch.

I first saw it in the short-lived, but fun, Japanese class that my school held! ^^

I then got the film for Christmas, and I showed it to my brother, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I dunno why, you hear about it and it seems a bit boring, you know, thief rescues princess who is being held against her will in a big castle, but you have to see it to believe how awesome it is. :D

Is it me or do the ninjas that the Count own look a little like the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts? Lmao.

Having watched both dubs (I own the Manga one and have seen the streamline one several times) the Manga dub is much better, if you don't mind the barest handful of swear words (Jigen is brilliant in the manga dub)

Brilliant film in all. Shows Miyazaki's comedy side, which appears all to rarely after this film (You get little bits of it in Laputa and Totoro, but none are out right comedies - On the other hand Future Boy Conan is full of stuff like this :) ) and is just a great, fun, amusing and charming story through and through.

However Film 4 need to show some OTHER (i.e, non Ghibli) Anime really badly at this point :p

Seen it late last year when it was on Channel 4 (came on about 5am, quite strange), and I thought it was brilliant.

Dub version, too.

Agreed. It's great that they keep rotating the Ghibli films (even though I don't tend to watch as I already own them all) but it would be good to see more anime on TV. The only other ones you ever see are Ghost in The Shell and Akira.

Wouldn't it be great to see the odd Satoshi Kon film, or even a decent series on (digital) terrestrial.

Never herd of it... is this a Ghibli Film then?
Not really... It's a Myiazaki movie, previous to the formation of Ghibli. According to some interviews, this movie inspired Suzuki to convince Myiazaki to start Ghibli.

It's a Lupin III movie, it's great =)
