Casshern coming to UK cinemas in Feb

Momentum Asia have announced that Casshern will be tearing it's way into (most likely limited) UK cinemas on 18th February and will be quickly followed by a DVD release on 21st March.

Casshern is the much anticipated live-action adaptation of a vintage sci-fi anime series of same name. Click here to view the trailer.

That films rules so much!! Doubt i'll see it in the cinema seeing as I've seen it 3 times allready, I'll just wait for the dvd.

I liked Casshern the first time I saw it (with subtitles; couldn;t really get into the raw version), but on subsequent viewings it's kind of lost something. I'll defintely go see it on the big screen if it's on anywhere near here, though.

I've never seen the anime, but I have heard of it. Wasn't it out in the seventies?

Yep seventies it was, I've never seen the anime either but it did'nt stop me from loving the film.
