Cameron plans Battle Angel trilogy

Ain't it Cool News have recently <a href="http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=22599">posted an interview</a> with the elusive James Cameron in which he confirms that he intends to a create trilogy of live action movies based on Yukito Kishiro's popular sci-fi manga Battle Angel Alita (Gunnm).

That said, Cameron isn't sure whether his next movie will be Battle Angel Alita or another of his long rumoured projects AVATAR but irregardless, he is determind to push cinema and movie technology into the next generation of picture quality with these movies.
 
I heard he planning to use CGI for Alita because it gonna be really hard for him to find someone who fits Alita n can also do all the moves she does.

It was always his intent to use a CG Alita, Gollum style. There will be an actress, with Alita's image superimposed. You couldn't use a person for the fight sequences and still be a depiction of the work. Some of the fighters, Alita included, have supersonic attacks.
 
Yeah i no, it wud be cool if an actor cud do stuff like that but i no it super human. Well i cant wait for it, i really hope he doesnt ruin it.
