Buying anime related stuff and money

What a point buy to dvd or game for over £25-50 because you can wait to months until price is drop. It is a lot of save money. Example last year skyrim is release and their price is £35-£40 on online but i am wait their price is drop. I bought skyrim for 22.50 from gamestation online.

Like i said before, i share this opinion. Why buy when it comes out when you can wait a few months for a price drop? You save a lot of money. Today i bougt deal of the week at aol which is samurai champloo for a £9,99 bargain. I'm glad i've hold on for so long. eheh I do the same with games too which they are a lot cheaper in the uk than in my country.

I just live with a constant, small amount of debt and the feeling that the economic system will collapse soon, rendering everything cheaper and devaluing both my debt and the savings and property of anyone who has any. I could be wrong of course. But I know if I had any savings, I'd be converting anything held as fiat currency into a safe and some Krugerrands.

I've gotta say AF your worldview is cripplingly negative =/ I've often seen you refer to the "outside world" as "painful" and I must confess it's slightly alarming, friend...

^Could be a good starting point to become a Buddhist?

I don't really spend an awful lot on anime, manga or games, myself, but with that said, I do still spend a fair amount of money. What I prioritize over any other luxuries right now is my training, and it's about £100 a month (so I can go to all the classes that I want) and that's with concessions.

I'm not currently making much money, so I can't really spend money on a whole lot much else, but I'm quite lucky as I don't have any habits of going out every weekend and raving it up or drinking ect. So I'm pretty happy. Of course, I'm still lucky enough to live at home and not to have being kicked out by now!

How old are you again Vash? (I'm not saying this in a condescending tone, more one of curiosity, I'm pretty sure it's been said before that you type older than you are so I was just wondering how young/old that is :p)

@rui you reading doujinshi ( awesome )
@sparrow life's a bitch and deaths a basterd and life is hard and you don't know what's around the corner let lose and have fun with what ever you like doing

@everyone else thanks for giving me good advise (your all awesome )

Oh I didn't mean in your vocabulary -it's grammar by the way- I meant in your opinions and so on; like your attitude to technology etc.

That's fair enough though, I just always imagined you to be closer to mid-twenties. I turned 22 myself this year, just fyi.

You know what that gets to me.

When I do decide to buy a few DVDs and save a lil there going to be a time when I say,* ok iv brought the maximum and now il save the rest* but theres always going to a series that'll caught your eye and you'll be biting your nails should I just buy this or shouldn't this time. And when you don't decide to buy and decide to get it next time there'll be a time when you go for the series next time and there out of order, that really ticks me off. You know what I mean

-it's grammar by the way

:lol:

I meant in your opinions and so on; like your attitude to technology etc.

:lol: It is true, though. I actually get this quite a lot, when I reveal that I don't have a Facebook nor do I appreciate such applications.

@AF
If your DVD is out of stock, just watch something else and wait for it to come back in stock! Simple.

@af

If your DVD is out of stock. Learn to deal with it because many thing will out of stock. you can't expect dvd is there stock all time.

I pick fault with this, you contradict your original point of life being "painful" but then that post ends with you saying to let loose and have fun?

True life can be a bitch but the way i see it, your dealt a hand. Now if you choose to stick the long game and play your cards right - it won't matter what your start was, through hard work and determination the ability to be whatever you want to be is in each of us.

I'm a firm believer that life is what you make it, you can choose to let things get you down and the first sign of things going wrong; bury your head in the sand and pretend its not happening OR through strong will and optimism you can change things to your liking.

Take this for example:
Recently a scumbag smashed my cars wing mirror, i could have been really upset and annoyed about it and let it get me down. Or i could have gone online and bought a new wing mirror online and use a voucher to reduce the cost, sure its now a waste of money and a voucher but there's nothing i can do but shrug it off and get on with life.

Lifes too short to worry about the small things, every cloud has a silver lining and through our mistakes we learn how to progress forward the next time that problem arises.

Yes life is what you make it I totlly agree.

I have mixed feeling about stuff in life, life is painful that's why we should enjoy and and have fun while were all alive and not worry about the small stuff. But life gets me down cause I let it get tome ( I'm one of those people who let's the little things get to him) it's something I need to work on about my self worth.

Unsure if typo, playing the jester or lost in translation. Surely not subliminal insult? :)

Life is a learning curve, building things up only makes things worse; believe me i've had my share as much as anyone else of broken hearts or family/friend problems, as time has gone on those life lessons mould people into adults capable enough to deal with most things that life may throw at them.

My advice is to let go of the little things that may annoy or bug you now as life has a funny way of increasing pressure and expectations; i thought Sats tests were a major thing until GCSE's turned up, then college degree's and so on and so forth. Life is constant and the worries you had yesterday will be a pebble in the beach of life but relax and be who you want to be - not what you think you are expected to be. Confidence is one of those attributes that help you go forward when everything else is telling you to turn the other way or accept what your being made to do.

If you can learn to relax yourself and build self confidence you'll learn that life is a blank page and you are holding the pen; the one who can change and build upon anything you want on that page, tearing and throwing the parts that you no longer want away but learning from the experience all the same.

I've spent years building my friends confidences up and though they still try to shy away, im always there to push them forward. Sometimes in life you won't have someone else to push you forward, its in those moments you have to take the leap of faith yourself and who knows... in the future you may become the source of confidence for others too.

What I've learned from this is that life is a metaphor-dictionary :p

And that i am a professor ;)

At any rate, i think i've covered all the bases... i wonder if i could write a book for youths growing up in the world.

@tachi I wasn't insulting ya it was a funny joke from a movie I saw and you used the life is what you make it line.

But anyways that's a really hood speech I think you should write a book
