The Watershed Cinema in Bristol has a variety of Ghibli films and Ghbli-themed events it plans to run throughout August.
Dubbed, “Studio Ghibli Forever”, the event will see the screening of <strong>Porco Rosso </strong>(<strong>Fri 1 – Thus 7 Aug</strong>), <strong>My Neighbour Totoro</strong> (<strong>Fri 8 – Thu 14 Aug</strong>), <strong>Princess Mononoke</strong> (<strong>Fri 15 – Thus 21 Aug</strong>), <strong>Ponyo</strong> (<strong>Fri 22 - Thus 28 Aug</strong>) and <strong>Spirited Away</strong> (<strong>Fri 19 – Sep 04 Aug</strong>).
Each film will have both the subbed version (screened at 13:00) and English dub (screened at 18:00) played. Times are extremely friendly with 13:00 viewing and 18:00.
On top of some classic anime there was the chance to take part in Japanese cultural activities like a origami workshop, a manga workshop (for 11-16 year olds) but tickets seem to be sold out. To find out more information, check with the cinema website.
