The official website for the forthcoming anime movie adaptation of Blue Exorcist started streaming a trailer today.

The movie is based on Kazue Katō’s manga of the same name and is being animated by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online). The director is Atsushi Takahashi (Assistant Director on Spirited Away) and he will be working from a script written by Reiko Yoshida (Bakuman, The Cat Returns!!!). Music is provided by Hiroyuki Sawano (Guilty Crown), Shinji Kimura (Akira, Project A-Ko, Spriggan, Steamboy, Tekkonkinkreet) is art director, and Keigo Sasaki (Le Chevalier D’Eon) is providing the character designs. The anime movie is expected to premiere on the 28th of December, 2012 in Japan.
