Cheers. There's DVDFab, too, which Project-2501 mentioned, and that's somewhat cheaper than AnyDVD HD. Seeing as I haven't been able to find any free software it looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and pay up.

If your drive came with a copy of powerdvd OEM then install that and get dvdfab region reset.
