This is the latest addition to the critically acclaimed high definition 2D fighting series which provides a new and exciting story, a new set of unique characters, a new and attractive world, rich and detailed animation, outstanding graphics and slick fighting.

If the enticement of beautiful hand-drawn 2D anime characters and imaginative and inventive stages don’t interest you then perhaps the rave reviews on Metacritic.com and the PlayStation®Store for the PS Vita version might:

It is among the top three rated retail products for PlayStation® Vita on both Metacritic and PSN, BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend continues to excite critics with its fusion of beautiful artistry, unique cast of characters and an exceptional fighting system that pushes people’s expectations of what fighting games can be.

GamesMaster Magazine considers it the top-rated PS Vita launch title and describes it as ‘One of the best 2D fighters of modern times’.

Rated 9/10 by Metro, they praise BlazBlue as being ‘by far the best new beat-em-up of the last several years’.

‘The critical reception to BlazBlue has been phenomenal’ says Geraint Evans, Director of Arc System Works Europe. ‘We’re thrilled that both consumers and media continue to get behind the BlazBlue series – supporting what is a truly unique offering among fighting games’.
‘We very much hope new players will keep exploring what this series has offer, both in terms of the competitive fighting as well as the story, universe and characters – not to mention the thriving community surrounding the game.’

So it seems they have become engaged in critical matters. How dejected the editors thereof would be to learn that I sit on their publication whilst commuting. Taking the used copy from my seat beforehand would leave me lumbered therewith.

If it means the Metro website which has it's games reviewed by the GameCentral people, then their reviews are actually some of the better ones on the net.

Not sure where else to post this, but Zavvi have the limited edition of Continuum Shift: Extend for X360/PS3 for just £14.95. Vita price is still over £30 though.

The £14.95 price makes it cheaper than the standard edition, and cheaper than the limited editon of the first Continuum Shift game!

Edit: Price corrected back up to £19.95. Still cheap though!

Wow, you lucked out!

I got it about 2 hours before you at £17.95. Just went back to try to reorder at £14.95 and it's already back up at £19.95! They can't make up their minds today.

I wish I'd lucked out! I bought it for £19.99 on Tuesday, as I wasn't expecting the price to drop any further.
