Is it? Because I just searched amazon and nothing came up and I am gobsmacked that nobody is jumping on this gorgeous, gorgeous glut of violence and irony.

I need this anime!
 
Funimation licenced it in the US, and they are probably waiting on the final two OVA episodes to be released in Japan first before they can get to work on the whole dubbing and US release. After that, maybe it will come to the UK.

It's licence has probaly expired, Geneon USA shows are in a state of flux, both here and in the USA.
Some are getting rescued by FUNi (Chobits), Rightstuf (Utena) and Aniplex USA (ROD); others are going totaly OOP and getting rare (Nanoha A's).
Made more confusing as FUNi are distro for some of them anyway.
 
I believe that Black Lagoon is out of print in the USA now. There was mention of it as well as some other shows in another thread.

But yeah I've waited for the English release, Black Lagoon in Japanese is no good.
