Best anime game ever!

Big fan of the first two Grandia games, especially the excellent battle system. Did anyone ever play Xtreme? I heard it was all battles, with no story at all, which would get a little dull after a while. Star ocean 3 was a good anime styled game as well, although the cliched plot, and deus ex machina moments thoughout sorted ruined it a bit.
Guilty Gear's a good game as well, for those who enjoy fighting games

soz but i 100% hate that game, such a waste!
i had it on pre-order in anticipation, then when it arrived i was so dissapointed, its so unresponsive, and only 'a' handfull of moves.

but my faveourite anime type game right now has to be
Jump Superstar! and
Bleach DS

now the bleach on DS is a thing of wonders!
wi-fi compatible, neat graphics, 4 players, and you can pull of some neat moves, and has voice overs and everything!
 
I'm going to agree with Ryo chan and anyone else who said it (i've been skimming so sorry) but Tales of Synphonia is the best Anime Game, nay, RPG, EVER!!!...in my opinion....:)
 
Wait, I'm lost. Do you mean game based on anime or anime style game? Grandia and ToS don't have any anime connections (apart from other anime adaptations in the Tales series).

I haven't played any games based on anime but if you mean anime style games... I would say... hmm... *stares at unhealthily big RPG shrine*... Dark Chronicle or Skies Of Arcadia. I wasn't as mad on Tales of Symphonia as everyone else, granted it is good, and Grandia's been said too many times already =P
 
Sta Ocean series is worth a mention, I love the battle system, but unfortunately its still no where as good as final fantasy VII's
