So how come Vol 3 of The Girl That Leapt Through Space is listed but Volume 2 isn't. Or am I missing something?

It's on for September according to the anime schedule ;)

I'm excited about the 00Gundam set, I've been wanting to watch this for ages, but can not bring myself to pay for the posh sets.

It a bit of a puzzler. It maybe volume 3 is actual volume 2 and they moved the date back. As they already made a previous mistake on TGTLTS DVD listing by using the wrong last word of "Time" instead "Space".

How many episodes are their on the first volume of TGTLTS? So we can work out how many volume this series will have.

It's two discs with a total of nine episodes, so there is going to have to be a volume three.

No Bebop Anime Legends?? D:
Adding it to the potential print list. May also do something shiny with the series as well given it's been long due something fancy.
::raises hand::

Blu-ray would be lovely, please. Fan though I am of Beez premium packaging, I'm not rebuying anything I already own on DVD at this point, no matter how fancy.

I don't think there is even a BD release in Japan or America.

And... I'm guessing the point you intended to make there was that it would be unlikely that the UK would get a BD release because of this? I'm fairly sure that's what you were getting at but I can't be sure because, y'know, you didn't actually say that.

It may be a long shot, but simultaneous worldwide BD releases from Bandai/Beez have happened before. Also, you can just consider this me voicing my opinion to a representative of the industry that as a UK anime consumer I'm no longer interested in rebuying DVDs.

Yup. They'd need HD Masters to make it.

Also, many people, like me, do not own Bebop on DVD.

I can't actually find this information (quickly enough) online, but I'm 99% sure Bebop was hand painted cels, wasn't it? So presumably it was transferred to film / digitised in a higher resolution than standard TV broadcast. If not, why not? Which, strangely enough, is also my reaction to your second statement.

Maybe. I think it doesn't have a Japanese BD release cos it wasn't that popular over there.

I don't own a DVD set yet because it was only in print for a short while. And even then, it was like £40 or something.
