If things have seemed a little quite at Beez Entertainment of late fear not, they are still very much alive and kicking in the UK market - so much so that they've revealed today on Twitter that they've just secured the license for a series, the details of which they will be revealing at the Ayacon convention which runs from the 19th-21st of August.

Thankfully, we'll be there at Ayacon to give you the low-down as it's announced, but for now we can tell you that the announcement in question will unveil the license to a mecha-based series that a lot of people have been asking about, and moreover that it's an older anime series rather than something recent.

More likely than the Gundam fangasm that is taking place on certain fora...

My guess is it will be Turn A Gundam. I can't Imagine it will be Gundam Zeta series though, as they already licensed the films a while back. We should be hopefully hearing news on Zeta Movie release soon, according to BEEZ twitter feed.

My guess is, it'll be Big O II. I think that was even hinted at before.

of course - wishful thinking hat on here - I'd LOVE it if it was announced that Beez were bringing the original Gundam show to Europe at the same time as it gets a re-release Stateside. That'd be quite a coup.

Hoping we get some news about Gundam ): A Wakening Of the Trailblazer soon, too.

Star Driver might be too recent for it to qualify as a old series. It only came out a couple of years ago :D It would be great if it is through!

HaHa I must be thinking of something else! :D . I have been watching a lot of anime lately and I get them all messed up
that been happening to me alot too lol but i get so existed to watch the next series

They didn't announce Turn A, more the mentioned their interest in the title. And it would kinda fit the bill here as well. It's a relativey old series now, and they've been asked for it plentiful times up until now, so it wouldn't surprise me to see it be their next mecha release, and my next money sink.

Turn A Gundam would make me very happy.

Star Driver is also a show I'd like to see make it over here. But it ain't gonna be that.

The entire GaoGaiGar mythos (Brigadoon, GaoGaiGar, GGG Final and Betterman) for direct AL releases.

Dood can dream, I guess.

Turn A, X and the Zeta New Translaions would be fine as well. (Hell, they don't really have an excuse with Zeta)

Nozomi Entertainment announced that as a Licence Rescue in the US at Anime Expo just gone. The series, the movie, and for the first time in the West, the Gekiganger III OVA.

If it was a license rescue, it would more likely be Eva.

Btw, notice the "A lot of people have been asking about"

...hmm.
