Beez April anime releases

Earlier in February, Beez published their (tentative) UK anime release plans for 2005. Now, according to their UK distributor Pinacle Vision, the following UK release dates have been set:
25th April Beez releases
Cowboy Bebop #4

S-CRY-ed #1

Stratos 4 #1

Witch Hunter Robin #1

Midori Days was also said to be starting it's UK run in April, so we can only assume it has been pushed back until May (at the earliest). Of course, these release dates should be considered fluid, with the impending .Hack//Sign #7 (including the LE art box version) recently being pushed back until the 7th of March. All of these release dates have been entered into our UK anime release schedule.

It's all starting to move really fast now! I never expected to see the day when Beez had scheduled four seperate releases on the same day :) When you remember all of the above (possibly excluding Bebop) will have art boxes, it just gets better. Beez are definently my biggest (and best!) surprise of 2005!

Now if they only did the same with there games I want the Inuyasha RPG
dammit. Atari are good but they only pick up a few for us...

so ur telling me that Beez are going to start doing art boxes?!?!?!???
u mean the boxes that house the rest of the dvd collection!?!?!!?
like in US!?!?!?!
if so then, cool! finally the UK is getting some of the good suff, i have 2 art boxes to house my dvd collection, one is for Azumanga Daioh (btw i have the entire series, on R1 version, i just love it)
and i have the art box for Peacemaker (i currently have vols 1&2)
i hope adv will also have art boxes, that reminds me, i think they are going to!
because if you log on to www.advfilms.co.uk there is a poll asking how much would you pay for an art-box+Vol1 of a anime dvd series, so i guess this means ADV is thinking big about it then! :)

I have been speaking to Beez recently and the only confirmed artbox release was for volume 7 of .hack.

Where have you heard otherwise?

Well I`m looking forward to Witch Hunter Robin#1 and Cowboy Bebop#4. But Witch Hunter Robin will be adding a extra DVD to what I have to get every other month.

I`m so glad that Beez and MVM titles which are releasing many of the shows I want this year are not as expensive as ADV`s. Means I can afford more anime each month :D .

Oh damn, great news and all but come on Im going to have no money at all, Im only 15 :(
Guess I'll have to add Gungrave, Witch Hunter Robin and S-CRY-ed to the pre-order list on play.com . I suppose the upside is that they have artboxes and there at no extra cost on play.com which is good.

Maybe you can get a part time job to pay for your monthly animé fix.

Sounds like good reasoning to me.

GCSE's are too close, rather concentrate on them and get a job after there over.

Fair point, I just rememberd that it's getting close to exam time for you guys as well.

Guess that means you'll have to lock away the DVD's for the time being anyway eh? Hope you do well in your exams.

I probably wont but thanks anyway :D

Bah, trust me, they aren't that hard. You just need to study hard for them.

From what I remember of my GCSE's, it's not so much the complexity of most subjects that gets to you so much as the volume of stuff you need to learn (do you guys still do around 8-10 GCSE's these days or has that changed in recent years?).

Anyway, don't worry too much about it, and try to focus on the subjects you want to do at A-level (not that I'm suggesting that you neglect the other stuff  ). It can make a significant difference when you're studying the stuff that you want to instead of the stuff you're forced to. :)
