BBFC Possible Ratings and Questions

(Please Reply) BBFC Age Recommendations for these anime?

Have they just not been licensed in the UK? Can they not be released due to UK laws? And what age certificates do you think they'd receive from the BBFC?

Attack on Titan is definitely coming next year, that's a safe 15. Gintama is too niche, it wouldn't sell enough so MangaUK won't license it at least. No idea about the rest, but any non release is not likely down to UK laws, but more to financial considerations, what would and wouldn't sell in the UK based on the demand for it or stuff like that. You're also much less likely to see the older titles released now in the UK unless it's the kind of series that still has staying power, like Cowboy Bebop for example.

They asked on twitter not too long ago whether we'd consider £34.99 for a half season steelbook. We're just waiting on Funimation to dub it. We usally only get a drip feed of anime from the US and it can take up to 18 months to get their titles.

All anyone can give you is guess work. Having seen High School DxD and Haganai, I really don't seem them having a rating beyond 15.

DxD has a fair amount of fan service, mainly torn clothes and nudity, along with combat.

Haganai, mmm, how to explain. It has one or two parts of nudity, but any other sexual content is more of a suggestive nature, the way one or two act and speak. Apart from that both are more towards comedy, with Haganai having a bit more character chemistry.

Not sure if that's the sort of content advisory you was after.

It depends if you're going to give people a chance to read this thread and reply. People don't patrol this site 24/7, especially on a Friday, and asking and then bumping the thread twice in all but an hour and a half is not the way to do things.

The only two I can comment on are Haganai and Attack on Titan, both of which would be 15.
Rather than asking about potential BBFC certs, why don't you just go on rightstuf and look at the US rating...
Some of those titles will never get a UK release at all.
