Awesome news for VM Customers

The guys who made that video have mad taste for TV. It's basically catered for me. I'm surprised they are trying TiVo over here again though. I'll stick with Sky, since the Sky HD EPG is basically the same, but if this means Virgin's box will now run at a half-decent speed, I'm all for it. I don't see why anybody would want to watch YouTube videos on your TV box, however. :p

US don't have Virgin Media, so no. Also, you know it says "500 TV shows" or whatever? What's that? HBO/BBC length? Sitcoms? Is that HD? Annoyingly vague.

At the end of the day VM are nolonger an actual broadcaster, they are just a carrier.
Which is good, since they now can focus more on On-Demand stuff

Why? Virgin cheaper and has alot more features :?

No interest in this thread whatsoever, but can I just say:

Paradox295, please... either fix your avatar or don't have one at all.

How is all the on-demand stuff good for ITV/C4 and stuff? It's actually quite concerning, but probably no more so than Sky+.

And, I'll see when it comes out, but Sky has loads more HD channels and I've always found them better and faster. I'm quite fond of the EPG as well.

VM have BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand Five, all of them are great but they have ads, but seeing as it's a free addon, it's quite fair.

And Sky has more HD channels, but we get them about 6 months later anyway

lol, so many times I have thought of mentioning that. I suspect maybe it was over the file size limit, but Paradox could see it in his local cache or something?
