Nope, it's being cockblocked is what started this whole nonsense.

Just seen it was our good friend's Kaze what a surprise.

I don't understand why they pick up the UK streaming rights for shows & then do nothing with them. All it does is block other legal sites from obtaining them.

I was thinking that maybe Kaze were leaving the UK market but notice they are involved in the Sony Movie Channel.

We get 3 of last night's four announcements from Crunchyroll:
Galilei Donna
Bottom Biting Bug 2
Walkure Romanze

We don't get Meganebu, however.

Don't mind missing out on Free with spectacles... Looking forward ro Galilei Donna, I could use a bit of noitaminA that isn't C Control. Given how many of last seasons shows I never got around to even trying, it isn't the end of the world that we seem to be shortchanged this time around, although I did want to watch Samurai Flamenco. I might actually find the time to watch Attack on Titan.

EDIT... Synopses and info...

We're also excited to announce Galilei Donna, launching on Thursday, October 10, at 11:00am Pacific Time, available to members in U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Central and South America including Caribbean, Europe (including Scandinavia and French-speaking and German-speaking territories).

An original production from A-1 pictures and airing on the coveted noitaminA block in Japan, Galilei Donna follows the three Ferrari sisters who are descendents of the astronomer, Galileo Galilei. The year is 2061 and the world is in the grips of another ice age. With a mysterious organization hunting them down and searching for the “Galilei Donna”, the three sisters must work together to fight against the organization and discover their true destinies.

Hozuki Ferrari is the youngest sister at 13, with Rina Hidaka, who also voiced Nana Ichikawa from Love Lab, cast in the role. The middle sister is 16-year old Kazuki Ferrari, played by Rumi Okubo, who also voiced Toko Ichimiya from Servant x Service. The oldest of the sisters is Hazuki Ferrari, age 20, voiced by Kei Shindo, also known as Mito Aizawa in The Knight in the Area.

The second season of the bottom-biting sensation is back with Bottom Biting Bug 2, starting on Monday, September 30, at 3:00pm Pacific Time.

Bottom Biting Bug 2 will be available to Crunchyroll members in the following territories: U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, France, French DOM-TOM, Andorra, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco.

Husband and wife team UrumaDelvi wrote and recorded the children's song "Oshiri Kajiri Mushi," and also animated the music video, which serves as the basis for Bottom Biting Bug. The song blew up in popularity, breaking into the Oricon singles chart's top 10, selling over 300,000 CDs and hitting 1.5 million downloads.

The protagonist, Bottom Biting Bug the 18th (age 10), is endlessly cheerful and energetic, and just loves to sing and dance. When bitten correctly by a bottom biting bug, a person with a hunched back will have perfect posture, a depressed person will start to laugh, a timid person will gain confidence... Anyone bitten will seem like a whole new person! However, even bottom biting bugs make plenty of mistakes... The story of B.B.B.'s crazy life continues with more of the humor and gags that kids love!

And finally, Walkure Romanze will be on Crunchyroll starting Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 9:30 am Pacific Time available to Crunchyroll members WORLDWIDE ex Asia.

Based on a visual novel of the same name, Walkure Romanze takes place at an academy that is focused on the sport of jousting. The main character, Takahiro Mizuno, had originally planned to train to become a knight at the academy, but an injury back home in a jousting tournament forced him to rethink his plans. Now, he’s decided to train as a begleiter, or knight’s assistant, and help one of the academy’s girls win.

Walkure Romanze is being produced by production company 8-Bit, whose other works include Wagnaria!! and two other titles this season as well, Infinite Stratos 2 and Tokyo Ravens. Relative newcomer Seiichiro Yamashita, who previously had minor roles in Oreimo 2 and Sunday Without God, will be voice acting as the main character Takahiro, and Ai Shimizu, whose other roles include Serafall Leviathan from High School DxD New and Marshall Princess Yoshimoto Imagawa from Sengoku Collection (Parallel World Samurai), is playing his childhood friend and fellow student, Mio Kisaki.

When will crazy anime companies learn. Region blocking the UK will do them no good, and just annoy us. Anime fat cats, stop cutting off our nose to spite our beautiful blimey face, and give us the anime the rest of the world gets. I don't pay £5 a month to Crunchy just for my older brother to mooch off my account and watch Attack of Titan, but at this rate that's what I might well be doing!

Going by the rage at the moment, Kyoukai No Kanata has been blocked from everywhere bar north america for crunchyroll, taking i think the total tally of titles not appearing in the UK to about 6-7? i think. I'm running out of reasons to keep my subscription this season

Honestly, if they're going to play asshole, I don't see why warming the BT Tracker and reaping the rewards within is such a problem.

In an official capacity I will not condone piracy, however, I will condemn the practice of region segregation as a capital crime.

Edit: Oh! But we're are being so GRACIOUSLY allowed to watch Infinite Stratos 2. Dear lord, gag me with a spoon.

I swear, Manga has to have their hands in thier faces about all this. SAO got a ton of advertising though it's CR run, I imagine.

If Manga UK were upset about it they could always license the shows and pop them on Crunchyroll themselves (as certain US companies do).

Certain US companies are not beholden to Australian disto, the BBFC swindling them at every turn and the need to price sensibly.

Why would Manga UK be, if it was a streaming arrangement? According to Funi, it's possible to make money doing it, and Manga's pricing is far crazier than the distributors in the US.

Well, it looks as though someone else is beating them to it anyway.
