Autumn anime season 2012

By the looks of things I have a little bit of interest in Kamisama Kiss, Chuunibyou, Litchi Hikari Club, Busuo Shinki, Magi and Code:Breaker.

I'll definitely be watching Magi, Jormungand 2, Code:Breaker, Zetsuen no Tempest and Bakuman 3. Possibly Robotics;Notes (but I'd like to see Steins; Gate first). I'll catch up on Sword Art Online as well.

So i'll pretty much post my thoughts now on what i'm interested in, i'll add more once the final chart is posted:

Magi - Mainly checking this out due to people on twitter, plus i've pretty much liked A-1 Pictures this year, Sword Art Online & Space Brothers have been amazing so far. So yeah, sign me up.

Robotic;Notes - 1st Noitamina show: I think most of us was wow'ed by last year's Steins;Gate by White Fox, Robotic;Notes is instead heading to Production I.G this time, still I have high expections for this, although the rants on Guilty Crown worry me.

Psycho-Pass - 2nd Noitamina show: At the time of writing this post, the staff is still being revealed but it's another Production I.G lead by an impressive seiyuu cast, I still think his is the rumored Gen Urobuchi project but we will soon find out.

Hidamari Sketch X Honeycomb - Both Hidamari Sketch and Joshiraku have revived some interest in these types shows, the 4th Hidamari Sketch season looks to continue it's heartwarming days through High School with it's interesting characters. I again expect another soild season by SHAFT.

Jormungand Season 2- Still sold on this sequel, look forward to Koko being more Loco.

To Love Ru Darkness - Considering to be a big title for many people, i'm not really interested in the series, I dropped Season 2.

JoJo Bizarre Adventure - Shame that anime fans are moaning about the staff, I thought David Production was a pretty good choice since they are a solid studio and because of that i'm happy to check this out.

Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai - Only think that has me interest about this is the director which was apart of all the KyoAni Key animations (Air, Kanon, Clannad). Apart from that this looks to be another safe KyoAni project, it will look amazing though.

Girls and Panzer - *Sarastic laughter*

(Will write up future thoughts later)

Magi! Of course, my interest virtually guarantees that this will go to someone like Funi and be region locked away, but fingers crossed.

I'll be up for Noitamina and some continuing shows (while skipping the continuations of shows where the first seasons didn't stream to us), but I can't look at the full listings until later and know there were a couple of others. This season I thought I'd barely follow anything but ended up with loads, so hopefully next season will ease off a little - I have a disc backlog to catch up on too ;_;

R

From that first list, looks like i'll be watching Code:Breaker, Little Busters!, Psycho-pass, Robotics;Notes, Sukitte li na ya, To Love-Ru Darkness, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Zetsuen no Tempest.

I have a feeling though that Busuo Shinki, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai and Ixion Saga DT will be joining them once I see more of them.

Bones, Brain's Base, Production IG, KyoAni, SHAFT all doing shows. Bakuman, Hayate, JoJos, Jormungand all returning. Yeah, I'm not too worried about being able to find stuff to watch next season.

Magi did look to be getting a serious marketing push, too, anyone who has read the manga care to elaborate on it a bit for me?

I'll definetly be watching Robotics;Notes, Jormungand S2, Jojo's, Little Busters!, Medaka Box S2 and Setokai no-Ichizon S2 (a new season after so long).

Will likely check out Say I Love You, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Hayate, K and Psycho Pass.

Maybe give another couple shows an episode or two, but those are my almost certainties. It's looking like a good season to me :D

Despite loving Bakuman I've never kept up with the anime, I'll wait for the dvds (no doubt it'll be a long wait).

I'll probably watch Btooom! in the hope that strategic bomb combat is more exciting in motion than it is on paper.
Do you remember Silent Bomber on the PS1? If it's anything like as good as that... it should be a blast!

It's a good ol' fashioned shounen adventure set in a manga-fied take on Arabian Nights. The hero is a little magician boy called Aladdin who carries around a Djinn/Genie in a flute that smashes things if he needs to be bailed out. He goes around, meets characters such as the thief Ali Baba and a slave girl. It's been a while since I checked it out so I can't remember the ongoing plot exactly. It's got a great sense of adventure and the exotic setting gives it a distinct feeling that sets it apart from other shounen action/adventures.

All over To Love Ru Darkness... All over it ...

Jojo's could be very interesting as well depending on how they do it... No need of filler for a fair while heg
