Are United Publications normally this slow?

I had no problems my recent order from UP1 - shipped out on Thursday, received it on Friday.
Ditto. I've made quite a few purchases from both their UK and US site lately, and every time the items have come next day.

I assume it's all to do with where they are based and what currency they take the money in. All stock is from their UK warehouse but I assume they can somehow make more money selling to us in dollars vs £'s. The US site is officially based in the US, as per the letter head, so presumably they pay tax there rather than here?

You can also only buy Manga (and I'm assuming UK BDs too) from the UK site.

Books are not taxed in the same way as other items, thus I assume that's why they don't offer them via the US site.

I got my copy of Legendary Ninja Cats this morning from United Publications and they have stated on my invoice that they will be sending out replacement discs out as soon as they can.
My copy will probably have the replacement disc included (or I might get a set that already has a replacement) as I had to group it with items that won't be out for a few weeks.
I got a email from United Publications saying they are expecting the replacement discs in early june.
