Conan-San is reviewing? Hah. I'm intrigued by what he actually likes so...

Now's a good time as any to properly introduce myself, so hi! Been a fan of the site for a while and I'm happy to be part of the team.

My Rozen Maiden review is currently up with plenty more on the way, feel free to leave feedback otherwise my writing won't improve and I'll just keep writing rubbish

Well played, sir.

Always nice to hear about an OEL work that's actually worth reading.
As I hinted to in the review. I hate the idea that a non-DC/Marvel comic has to be falsely labelled "manga" in order to allow it any sort of success as it often sells often good comics very short.

That's not to suggest manga is inherently better, ether, who boy I've seen some real clunkers that would make linkara blush, lemme tell you (and I've bought a few in my time as well) but to think that a comic has to wear some sort of sheep's clothing always rubbed me the wrong way.

That and Tokyopop never gave Atomic King Daodon (that one comic the Double K guy did for Rising Stars) any chance in hell by punting it onto their online store and making it US only but that's a personal grievance.

Isn't their online store just Amazon.com through a funny interface

I'll take you at your word about feedback

I really liked the review. It was clear and descriptive and gave a good overview of what to expect. I did feel the following comment was a little off:
Rozen Maiden is a fairly averagely delivered show with lots of visual style to cover it up.

Fairly is a hazy word. Rephrasing it to something like:
Rozen Maiden may suffer from average delivery but it has a lot of visual style to cover it up.

This is me being super-pedantic so feel free to slap me if you wish. Otherwise it was a great review. I look forward to your next one! :)

Hi all,

Haven't had any reviews go live yet, but there's two pending and a couple more in progress. I think we all welcome feedback as its you guys who we produce these reviews for so keep it coming and we'll only get better.

Matthew

Hello everyone, some of you might know me from chat and various threads.

My Naruto review is up and I'm continuing work on more articles, give me your honest opinions and I can constantly improve them in the future.

Howdy folks. I'm new to the forums and my first review will be be released soon. I'm new to this site but I used to review for the (now defunct) Ukanime.com, so I've got some experience in this reviewing lark. I'm excited to be joining the writing team, and I hope you'll get a kick out of my reviews!

Good to see some fresh blood in the batch,

now please....someone take Sonia out of the bloggers spot at the bottom of the pages, she hardly ever posts on AUKN, and her blogs are of little to no worth.

This forum could be browsed over by kids and she's got a latest blog saying in capitals "F***ING RED SHIRTS IN THAILAND" Its not on!

Great! Exactly what I want; constructive feedback I can work with. Thanks for reading and I'll make less use of the 'hazy words' in the future :) And don't worry about being too pedantic - I work in TV, it's part of the industry!

the latest blog gets the spot. It's just that she is basically the only one really active blogging. I've started blogging again, but nothing related to anime at all, so I thought I would not add mine over there. Seh at least blogs about cosplays and events she goes to.

Hey people,

Sorry for such a late reply, but I am yet another new reviewer about to introduce myself - name's Raz everybody. Nice to meet ya.

At the moment, I've had one review up - Fate/Stay Night Vol. 4. Like Darkstorm, Matthew and all other reviewers, any criticism would be great from anybody, reader or reviewer, as I would love to improve - for myself, and for all of you guys too. Personally, I thought my review was a bit too long and descriptive (wait till you see my next review...!), and not succinct.

Also, been a fan of the site for a long time, but I was never one for forums. Hell I don't even like Facebook that much. I even applied for a position when Paul was around, alas it never was to be.

Thankfully, Chaos has given me another opportunity, for which I am grateful for and hope to contribute accordingly. Hope you all enjoy our reviews, not just mine.

Take it easy

Raz
