Hooray for cosplay prizes! Boo to those conventions that pussied out of giving cosplay prizes incase it offended those whose costumes weren't as good.

Well, we're going to give it a go this time, see how it goes, and if there's no issues it may be something we'll extend to future ALCLs and Alcon.

I'd just like to mention that One America Square is the most quintessential piece of Art Deco architecture in the City of London, perhaps shamelessly so. It's enigmatic for its location, and I find it a joy to look at as such.

(I like urbanism, to those who didn't know.)

A picnic in Hyde Park? How classy.
When last I went for a walk there I saw people with little wheels on their shoes, who were able to traverse the paths with impressive haste. A pursuit for the wealthy alone, I suppose.

We're pleased to inform everyone that we're still taking prepayments for ALCL. We currently have 185 people pre-paid so there's still space! :)

You can pre-pay at http://www.animeleague.com/london/registration.php upon registering you will receive an email saying the email to paypal the money to.

We'll take your registration and paypal payment until Friday (ie: up to the day before the event!). NOTE WE WILL NOT TAKE PAYMENTS VIA POST SINCE ITS TOO LATE TO DO THAT.

Seemingly as the only member of the board to have gone quick review.
Good
Met up with allot of people i meet at the expo's, con and anime cubs I've been to. Sitting round chatting to people was good, as was the beer. Good Dealers area (old friends there who strip my wallet every time)
Bad
VERY expensive food. A tenner for a small burger and chips.
Ugly
Layout, chill out area next to both entrance and games area, not very chilled. Also the DS tourney that blocked the entrance/exit.
Next time ?
Bring and buy, and maybe anime speed dating, as if you are painfully shy like me some way to meet people with similar tastes would be cool.

I'd definitely go to a speed dating, but i'm afraid it would only have guys like us in that. Maybe I should grow a beard.... =P

It's a shame the weather were so rubbish on Satruday. That and the pile of work I had to do...
