everyone is equal exactly
but dont you just hate it when theres people who think there the most important person in the world and they think everyone else is below them

You're saying I'm not the most important person in the world, let alone this place, then?
im talking about equality
yes there needs to be leaders but people need to be treated the same respect that you'd expect from others

Jayme gives me no respect these days, i think i need to say more 12 year old jokes, and make comments on spyro's tiny arms lol.

Jokes aside, no we aren't the same. Some are born with learning difficulties, it'd be naive to think they can do the same as others without learning difficulties (by them i mean mental health too) Working in the NHS has taught me, if anything, that political correctness is even further screwed than i first thought, and that those with a mental health issue aren't all "mental" some just have a drug or alchohol addiction, which has lead to destroying brain cells, you either take too much of your addiction and OD. Or you live long enough to see your brain deform enough that your in a unit.

Its for that point at the very basic level that proves we aren't all the same, some have stronger wills, some have leadership skills, some have excellent qualifications but when it comes to putting them into practice they lack experience.

"Variety is the spice of life"

If we where truly all the same, then we would all be born perfectly, or we'd all be born with some sort of abnormality about us (3rd arm or something) we'd all look the same and we'd all speak the same, with only thoughts to seperate us from each other there'd be nothing fun about it.

The fact that we aren't the same, is what makes us who we are, gives us our own personality and the way we look affects us in different ways (for instance a different haircut being taken well, or being mocked)

Equality amongst humans - yes
All the same - no

I will say this though, equality is still far from perfect, women still earn less than men in the same jobs. up until recently males where slammed with a heavy insurance price for just being male, no other factors (like if they can drive properly or are a "racer boy") taken into account. Women are still made to wear certain clothing in certain cultures. but in contrast women can get away with wearing tops that men can't in an office enviroment (like the people in my office ho wear vest tops that can be flourescent pink, yet if i wear anything other than a shirt people complain and cite the dress code at every opportunity)

Face it, so long as humans are about, we are all free thinking and we will hold different views, that difference between us is both a blessing and a curse.

On the subject of equality how come women get better clothes than us gents.

bu then again i would like to dress like these two

I have one in my town the clothes there are the excat same along with any other male clothing store.

I tend to buy my v neck tshirts from peacocks, 3 for £10 is a small price to pay to look good and they feel nice too. Its like paying primark prices for topman quality. Finding jeans is damn near impossible though.

We need more equality when it comes to stores :/

Rui, you lurker you, whats your female opinion?

There is, but... i'm abit of a toff when it comes to my jeans, so far topman and the armani store in london are the places i for jeans, the only real problem i have with primark is the fact that the clothes i've bought from there in the past, the seams come undone and although great for price, they only seem to cater for fat american sized people. everythings large or extra large. medium is bigger than average mediums and small... well lets not go into how warped they are with their sizes.

Same with suits really, i have to get them custom made because my torso is big but my arms aren't as long as they expected when they where making the mass produces suits. I swear they check chest size then go " x length arms then" and it just doesn't work that way for everyone.

Yeah i can get a pair of 32 waist by 30 leg in topman and they fit perfectly, then go into primark and see the same measurements but they are the size that i could put on an elephant. (dramatic about it but its more or less true)

Maybe my local primark just gets the crappest stock? who knows.

haha this is possibly true, :p if i'm paying £3 for a t shirt i'd happily pay an extra £2 for a measuring tape to be bought for the sweatshop workers :p

hey i have an idea

you know how some of us are looking for animes, mangas, figures, that we cant find anywhere on our natural websites that we look on for our anime stuff. well i was thinking

what if i made a thread that helped out oghrrs to look for the stuff they want e.g.

if someone was looking for *card captor* and didn't know where to find it we could help out each other for it. and if someone else is looking for e.g. the original gundam series we hlep them find it on the web.
you scratch my back il scratch yours

Well, we have a thread where we share online shop links and such already, which is really the best thing for that. Also, we have a Sales thread on another part of the forums to help those in the need for cheap series.

Would of been a nice idea, if it wasn't pretty much done already and it would be a hassle to keep asking what a specific thing is... Instead of scratching, it'd feel more like clawing our backs.
