Jayme gives me no respect these days, i think i need to say more 12 year old jokes, and make comments on spyro's tiny arms lol.
Jokes aside, no we aren't the same. Some are born with learning difficulties, it'd be naive to think they can do the same as others without learning difficulties (by them i mean mental health too) Working in the NHS has taught me, if anything, that political correctness is even further screwed than i first thought, and that those with a mental health issue aren't all "mental" some just have a drug or alchohol addiction, which has lead to destroying brain cells, you either take too much of your addiction and OD. Or you live long enough to see your brain deform enough that your in a unit.
Its for that point at the very basic level that proves we aren't all the same, some have stronger wills, some have leadership skills, some have excellent qualifications but when it comes to putting them into practice they lack experience.
"Variety is the spice of life"
If we where truly all the same, then we would all be born perfectly, or we'd all be born with some sort of abnormality about us (3rd arm or something) we'd all look the same and we'd all speak the same, with only thoughts to seperate us from each other there'd be nothing fun about it.
The fact that we aren't the same, is what makes us who we are, gives us our own personality and the way we look affects us in different ways (for instance a different haircut being taken well, or being mocked)
Equality amongst humans - yes
All the same - no
I will say this though, equality is still far from perfect, women still earn less than men in the same jobs. up until recently males where slammed with a heavy insurance price for just being male, no other factors (like if they can drive properly or are a "racer boy") taken into account. Women are still made to wear certain clothing in certain cultures. but in contrast women can get away with wearing tops that men can't in an office enviroment (like the people in my office ho wear vest tops that can be flourescent pink, yet if i wear anything other than a shirt people complain and cite the dress code at every opportunity)
Face it, so long as humans are about, we are all free thinking and we will hold different views, that difference between us is both a blessing and a curse.
