Though the majority of UK anime fandom passes through the London MCM Expo as one may treat his favourite sweet-shop, it was serious business for Anime UK News this year as we conducted our first ever "in the flesh" interviews.

First up is our podcast (essentially, a podcast is a downloadable MP3 file) with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Yong_Bosch">Johnny Yong Bosch</a>; famous for his (English dub) roles as Ichigo from Bleach, Vash from Trigun and Kiba from Wolf's Rain. The interview, which lasts nearly 5 minutes and covers a wide range of subjects, was conducted by our talented writer Nargis Ahmad (expertly assisted by Stuart James Ross).

It would be great to know what everyone thinks of this... We're in completely new territory here, so some feedback - even if just it say "it's awesome" would be most welcome.

I take it everyone understands about podcasts etc.

What was it like meeting the incredibly awesome Johnny Yong Bosch? =O

Also, that was pretty well done, seriously, did you just ask Johnny to do it and he agreed? Just wondering.
 
I really enjoyed listening to that. Johnny Yong Bosch is one of my favourite dub actors and it was good of him to do that. I would have liked to hear a few different questions asked(could have done without the outsider question) but overall it was well done. I hope to hear more in the future.
 
A very good interview and what a pleasant voice Nargis has. Don’t think I’d make a good interviewer with my dulcet tones.

Lupus Inu - Meeting Johnny was good fun- he's a very nice man! Yes, I just walked in there and asked him, told him that there are a lot of his fans on the website and he was happy to do it! For more info, read my blog which will appear in the NB portal in an hour's time.

Ryo Chan - yes that would be a problem... :)

Jayme - your comment made me laugh! My voice sounds a bit different in real life. The interview was early saturday morning before the signings.
