Anime Limited licenses Eureka Seven for a UK Blu-ray & DVD release

It'd certainly be nice to see a Planetes Blu-ray (if that's a possibility). A Sound Of The Sky Blu-ray could be interesting too if they could do that.

Sentai still haven't actually done anything with The Girl Who Leapt Through Space (or Big O for that matter) have they? I thought it looked like something I might be interested in but I've heard there may be issues with the existing releases.

I haven't seen Wolf's Rain either but I've heard some good things so I guess that one could make for an interesting release.

I probably enjoyed Midori Days more than I should admit, though I can't really see Anime Limited releasing it (at least not any time soon, maybe when they're a giant corporation with all sorts of different arms doing their own things).

Oh, something about Eureka Seven. I'd probably be interested, it's another one of those I should probably watch but most likely will end up not getting around to it and then buying on hype (possibly to never actually get around to watching the show at all).

Having just finished watching it, I would totally get behind that. However unlikely it would be.

Actually I can see it happening. Rightstuf over in the states are now doing Blu-rays (while Sound of the Sky is not planned yet they said titles that are not upscales like Utena (which is happening) are likely to occur) so if Anime Limited can rescue the title for the UK both of them could share the authoring like they did with Gundam.

Beez's DVD release of Sound Of The Sky looks absolutely phenomenal when simply upscaled on a blu-ray player, so an actual high definition release could be a very beautiful thing indeed. I would definitely be tempted to double dip if one were to happen.

Already own the Funi bds for Eureka Seven (having already purchased the Bandai dvds years ago) so I am unlikely to buy this version. Still good to hear news of it getting released in the Uk.

(The) Tatami Galaxy *Licensed by Funimation in US but aren't bothering to release for retail*

With Ping Pong and Genius Party under their belt (and probably Mind Game too), I can't see AL passing up an opportunity to release this unless the aforementioned sell terribly. It would please me immensely if they picked up Kemonozume and Kaiba as well so that they have the complete Yuasa collection!

Eureka Seven didn't do too much for me, it's okay but nothing special imo, so I'll give this a pass as I have no desire to rewatch it.

I would snap up a BD of Sound of the Sky, Planetes, Tatami Galaxy and/or House of Five Leaves without hesitation though...

Supprised AO isn't part of the set.
Licenses held by two different companies in one collection is clearly the exception rather than the rule. In fact I think the only exception is the Shinkai set, if that ever actually happens.
