UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

Nothing for me this sale got most thankfully, lets hope we get a few good flash deals - was debating the manga/light novels as they was cheap but ultimately decided not do go down another collecting hole lol

- still couldn't find the last letter tho

As others have mentioned in here, release date shifted slightly to 15th September. Samples arrived at our office literally today though, so I suspect stock should arrive and start shipping next week all being well.
Bit off topic but thought I'd ask anyway

Is Cardcaptor Sakura Parts 1 + 2 getting a reprint?

Double post, got a few things

Sword of the Stranger
House of the lost
Legend of Hei
Free Final Stroke Pt 1
Free Final Stroke Pt 2
Eternal 831
Over the Sky
Patlabor 1
Patlabor 2
Patlabor 3
Heavenly Delusion Vol 2 for Free Shipping as I already have vol 1

I never buy anything on sale unless it's the Christmas Sale, but this time I succumbed to temptation.

The Jujutsu Kaisen collector's editions
Looking for Magical DoReMi
Over the Sky

And from the BOGOFs
Deiji Meets Girl
The Deer King
The House of the Lost on the Cape
Love Me, Love Me Not

But Anime Limited, sort out your vouchers. Talk about a waste of time. Get a system that can handle BOGOFs and other things in the same order.

All this came to just under £75

The Collector's Editions were £55. Take 10% of that, and you're at £49.50. I was expecting to spend just under £70.

But no, I had to separate the orders for the code to work... and then once it gave me my discount, it stuck £3.50 on for shipping, and then add another £3.50 for the BOGOF order, and I'm suddenly spending more on the anime than if I just not use the discount. This kind of nonsense does not make for a happy customer.

It may not solve the fundamental issue, but in this case adding a £3 manga clearance item (10% off means £2.69) would have been cheaper than the £3.50 shipping charge.

Otherwise I completely agree; it’s absurd to have to split an order, and the shipping threshold is pretty high.

The most frustrating aspect of Anime Limited's postage costs is that it costs £3.50 for SECOND CLASS! MVM, on the other hand, offers a more reasonable rate of £2.00 for first class on orders over £30.

All show as in stock (but its only the Standard sets that are included in the sale

I did a banner-click of the ‘flash sale’, that opens a page with the four products (the three individual and the CE set).
And it specifically was ‘sold out’ for the first few minutes, so something got changed. Not that I think an extra £20 is a good price for a 68 page booklet. My expectations of a good price for the CE would probably be quite a bit lower.
