And I start my new job on 1st April. Can't exactly ask for a day off 3 days in. Already going to have to see if they'll be cool with letting me have 24th May off for Comic Con, which I've already booked the hotel for...

They haven't asked me yet (although in the interview they did bring up holiday time). I have to email them with a completed Health Declaration and a second reference anyway, so I might as well ask them if I can get the Friday for Comic Con off. I'll probably give this one a miss though - don't want to leave too much of an impression before I've already started.

Sure wish it was on a weekend though. Oh well.

EDIT:
Just double checked and it's in the evening. I could theoretically go...although I run being dead for work the day after xD

They reconfirmed that it's on the 2nd, as they forgot the 1st was a bank holiday.
