Geneon recently announced three new licenses at the anime convention Anime Expo stateside. These include Fake/Stay Night (which is set in the "Type Moon" universe that Tsukihime Lunar Legend is), mecha/romance anime Kannaduki no Miko and finally Shakugan no Shana. Both Fake/Stay Night and Shakugan no Shana are prelicenses.

Geneon also reaffirmed their licensing of the Hellsing Ultimate OVA.

UK distributors MVM, tend to distribute Geneon's titles in the UK. So fans should turn their eyes to them for news of releases here.

After reading animeinfo's rather sketchy synopsis of 'Shakagan no Shana' I'm intrigued, hopefully someone can enlighten or point me towards some more detailed info concerning the show. :)

The others look like pretty standard fare and I've heard of neither which is never a good sign, who knows though, hopefully when they pick up some buzz they will capture my interest.

Yeh, I couldn't track down anything on it myself , although it sounds intriguing.

Gun X Sword is the only new Geneon license I'm really excited about. The staff list is proven quality and having heard nothing about this series until now, I'm eagerly waiting to see what is produced.

Was hoping that Kannaduki no Miko got licensed! I can't wait to see what they do with the dubbing when they eventually get around to it.

I'm not interested in the other catches from Geneon but I'm sure there will be more than a few who are happy. ;)

Now all that we need is Maria-sama ga Miteru! :D
