can some 1 here tell me wat channel is the anime channel for skytv because it is 199 no more if you aint from the uk you wont most likely understand what my question is about

is there any other channels that are anime on sky o an how comes they have anime on cartoonnet work wen but not on sky cartoonnetwork

I know they moved some of the shows to a different channel, not sure if they're still there though. Not sure what channel either.

They moved Ghost in the Shell to Showcase TV at 12am then 3am, but I think they are gone from there aswell now.

They still air double episodes of GITS and Bebop from 4 to 6am daily on Showcase TV (Sky channel 188).
For now anyway.

anime central may have gone down the pan but does any one know what is happening with animax channel by sony.

Nowt is happening with Animax. The UK is pretty much the last place in Europe without Animax so you have to take that as a hint. The last word from Sony was back in 2007 saying they were looking at VoD for the UK.

Besides Film 4 with the usuall Ghibli movies. I have found that Scuzz (music channel) shows some Cowboy Bebop and GITS late at night. Just the usuall like. You'd be lucky to stumble across anything other than these two series these days. All I would suggest is to keep your eye open, and check Sci-Fi Channel as from time to time they have a movie or two on.
