Anime about Anime. Let us list them.

Just started watching Oreimo. An anime series about a guy finding out his little sister is into magical girl anime and incestuous pornographic anime games. I'm 5 episodes in and I'm hooked.
It got me thinking about the recent trend of slice of life anime about otaku. Shall we list them?
 
Welcome to the NHK, Genshiken, Otaku no Video, Lucky Star and Chaos; Head are all I can really think of.

Depending on how "about anime" (i.e. otaku-y), there's stuff like, Bakuman, which is about the process of creating manga, REC is about a voice-over artist and there's one episode of Golden Boy in which he works at an anime studio or something. Otaku no Video is something of a documentary as well.

I like this type of stuff, so, yeah, post people!

Slightly too many errors to leave alone there. It's like PIN number, % APR or Pokemons, don't repeat what is in the abreviation.

It's also not about anime.

There's one episode of Hayate no Gotoku!, where they animate Nagi's awful doujinshi.
 
I thought about adding Hayate, since it revels in that stuff but the problem with the question is that its either too broad or too niche, depending. I could also chuck in Sgt. Frog, in some cases. Same for SzS.

Please tell me this is a deliberate joke, since you must be well aware of the number of spelling, grammar and other errors you make in virtually every post.

You even left in "current" when the first volume hasn't come out yet!
 
Dojin Work is another show that comes to mind. Like in Genshiken the main character is interested in becoming a dojin artist.

School Rumble - Kenji Harima creates his own manga as does Oji Karasuma (he is a famous mangaka who publishes under the pen name of Nijō Jō).
