An interview with me on an anime blog; interesting, help?

Hey guys,

Yesterday I was recently interviewed by an anime blog called "Sea Slugs!". It's mostly based around my own blog (called "Bateszi Anime Blog"), but there are a few questions directly related to Anime UK News too. Please have a read :)

Also, I'm a little twitchy (read: insecure) about the "0 Responses" factor, so if you could leave a comment on there too, I'd consider you, like, the bestest person in the world, ever!

Click here to read the interview.

Cheers. I know this is shameless self indulgence, but whatever, I need your support! :)

"Worst part about blogging?

Being ignored. If you write for hours and no one gives a ****, that’s demoralizing."

Yep.

Paul you dark horse, you should have mentioned earlier you had a blog
I've know about it for a while and read it from time to time (I found myself agreeing for the most part with your 'Anime Is Dead' article) although i've never commented.

I left a comment on the interview article.

Also made a comment. I have a blog and I'm only updating it on the odd occasion. It's a good place for me to link my thoughts on a particular subject so that I don't have to type it again and again.

Sorry, I used to have a link in my forum signature, but ended up removing it because there was some drama with a few AUKN users, the truth is that in running this here establishment, I'm not expected to have strong opinions, just make decisions. I may just re-link it in my forum signature anyway, I'd like you guys to read it.

It always amazes me to know who reads my blog because there is obviously a large silent majority on there (700 unique visits a day). You should comment, I'd be happy read what you have to say about certain things.

URL? We have a fair few AUKN users (old and new) blogging anime or whatever else. We should link between each other, this is our community after all, we may as well stick together on "the outside" too! :)

Anyway, cheers guys for commenting on Sea Slugs. If you haven't already and have something to say, please do post a comment, it means a lot to me.

I'm a bit paranoid about it since I've only done two reviews of anime so far. I'll link it anyway since you asked. :)

Well great, i've now went and registered another site for another idea this thread gave me. I need something to kill time with over the summer :D

Maxon, i'll read your Chobits review later.

Yo Paul.
Read and commented on this.Awesome.
But let me just say that I read your "anime is dead" blog and commented on it and found it to be extremely interesting.
Seriously,I think every anime fan here should read this.

Gonna check out your blog more often.
Keep up great work.

That was a great read, to be honest i agree on the most part with what you said. As for your blog, i have read it from time to time, whenever you had your link for it in your signiture, but i'll take another good look again now methinks.
I did try once to blog, i think after reading through yours, and Akaihane, but i think i gave up trying, since i'm never good at portraying my thoughts in words =/.

I actually had blog once, on Blogspot, where I planned to put all my sociopolitical and/or satirical musings on, however to write something really pulling, yet also with some significantly viable points, you have to really concentrate and put time into, something which I soon got tired of after 5 updates.

I still love writing though, it's just more of a chore, unlike drawing.
