An Anime Character Orchestra

I was wondering if it were possible to find enough anime characters who play musical instruments that could form what might pass for an orchestra.

In terms of instruments, we have some anime bands from series such as K-On! and Detroit Metal City, so there are guitarists, bassists, drumers and keyboardists. Other music-playing anime characters I can think of are Austria from Hetalia (piano), Fukune Narukara from R-15 (clarinet), Kyosuke Kamijo from Madoka Magica (violin) and Izumi Maki from Nadesico (ukulele - which is not really an orchestral instrument I admit, but I might as well throw it in); as well as the Evangelion pilots who form their own string quartet.

Are there any other musical instruments anime characters play?
 
Actually just thought, Austria in Hetalia is often depicted with a conductor's baton, so it would probably be better for Austria to be conductor. On piano I suppose we could have Tamaki Suou from Ouran.

Also we could have Aladdin from Magi, The Labyrinth of Magic on the flute.
 
There is also Mary Gowland from Alice in the Country of... and Kotomi Ichinose from Clannad who both play the violin - very badly.
 
How has no one mentioned La Corda d'Oro or Nodame Cantabile yet? From Corda there's Kahoko and Len (violin), Aoi (viola), Tsuchiura (piano), Hihara (trumpet), Fuyumi (clarinet), Yunoki (flute) and Shimizu (cello) Nodame has Nodame (piano), Chiaki (piano, violin, conducting), Mine (violin), Kuroki (oboe), Masumi (timpani) and so many more.
 
Elliot and Leo (Pandora Hearts) both play piano.
My sister cleverly remembered Fujimoto (Kobato) plays the organ.
Momiji (Fruits Basket) plays violin.
Yui (K-On!) and her brilliant castanet playing :lol:

I think it's because I haven't got around to reading / watching those yet, but I probably will at some point.
 
Haha fair enough! I thought more people than me would've seen Nodame at least... And I just remembered a couple more. There's a character in Tegami Bachi who plays the violin, and Amiboshi from Fushigi Yuugi plays the flute.
 
Various characters in Angel Beats! play instruments.
Yuki Nagato plays guitar (or anything else), and then there's the regular ENOZ members too (Haruhi)
Miyako Terada plays keyboard, and Ayumi, Chihiro and Elsie all play guitar (KamiNomi)

Kotomi from Clannad plays violin (badly).

And all 4 characters in Teekyuu play the tennis racket.

Sanya from Strike Witches plays piano.
Chiyo-Chan from A.Daioh must play something she's a child genius after all.
Osaka from A.Daioh is seen playing the recorder. Ok very badly.
Angel from Angel Beats plays the piano in the opening titles.

if we're including non-orchestral instruments:
All of Ho-Kago Tea Time, After School Teatime, from K-On
Pino from Ergo Proxy plays a melodica.
I'm sure Arucard must play the organ in the classic Vincent Price style :)

If we're speculating, I'd say that Muten-roshi plays a mean glockenspiel...
