Great Teacher
My mother is going to america in a couple of weeks and i was trying to think if there were any anime films or series that hadn't come out in england. but i could come up with any. so does anyone no of any good anime, only realsed in america?

Niea_7. I love it, it's a shame it hasn't gotten over here yet so more people can enjoy it. What's a greater shame is that Tokyopop licenced the manga but never bloody released it!

I e-mailed Tokyopop asking about it but no reply sadly.

Anyway, off the top of my head:

His and Her Circumstances
NieA_7
FLCL
Genshiken*
Berserk*
Stellvia*

*Haven't seen these personally but I've heard good things and have them on my 'to buy' list.

GENSHIKEN - Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It, Buy It - this is just my opinion of course but it is worth owning

There's so many more US DVD releases than UK and I'm too biased to recommend a male orientated anime, so go for Kyo Kara Moah! or Princess Tutu ^__^

Jin Roh The Wolf Brigade is one of the few US-only movies really worth owning (we tend to get lots/all of the anime movies).

As TV series go, or OVA series go, there is a huge list of american-only anime;
like a whole pile of classic Gundam (Pocket war, 08th MS Team, Zeta)
'other' classic shows like 'Irresponsible Captain Tylor', 'Patlabor', 'You're under Arrest'

a lot of modern stuff too, like Gankutsuo

To tell you the truth its probably easier to look at the complete list of american-available anime, and strike off the hundred or so UK-available titles.
