I think it may go inbetween the two, there is a new character being created solely for the game.

Hmm, enjoyed the fist series but not because it was deep and meanigful like. Loved the fight scenes. Will keep my eye on the 2nd series. Will have to buy anyway so series one doesn't feel lonely. =P
