Advance Wars: Dark Conflict (DS)

Yeah i've got Day of Ruin as well and its brilliant, sure its missing a few things that the previous titles had(shop being one of them) but it makes up for it with the new additions for combat, like the fairly big change in getting CO power up and having the commander on the battlefield.
I'm on Mission 20 currently, i still need to get a lot of the trials out of the way as well, but its definitely worth getting.
 
I've not played Advance Wars before, but am quite interested in it, is it worthy of the purchase

I'm fully aware it's a strategic game btw.
 
Its a great series of games to play so yeah i would say its a worthy purchase. The new one out has no link to the previous 3(bar being an advance wars game) so its one you could walk into without having to know anything about the previous titles. The first three are all linked storywise, and play slightly differently(dual strike being the most different) but are still great as well.

If you're new to the series then most definitely yes, don't miss out on this one. It doesn't connect with the storylines from the previous games, they've taken away all that useless crap like Neo Tanks and balanced out the units a lot better too. I personally love the old visuals more but hey, change is good either way.

To be honest, I'd probably be whining about how they didn't change enough if they hadn't, but it'll take me a while to grow used to them as someone who's been playing Advance Wars since the original. I suggest you pick this up, as it's the best chance for you to jump into the series without missing out on plot etc.
 
I bought this one stuck on the last missions stupid lasers -.-. Anyone wanna face a person who got S ranks all the way through the whole game on wi fi ^^. Yeah this game is pretty kool I like the motorbike that is okay. But they wiped out the other COs :( no more sasha,rachel,colin,grit :(
