ADV/Lace announce more cancellations

This is how I feel on the matter, I was honestly looking forward to buying NHK and the Red Garden boxset, god damn.

Amen to that, I was foolish enough to buy the first volume too. Let's not forget Welcome to the NHK either, possibly the UK release I was most looking forward to recently.

I really hope someone has the sense to salvage from this mess :cry:
 
So let me get this straight in March they said they have tied up with Lace media to realease these DVDS they realese 1-2 volumes of series then cancel the rest.

Pretty much the same as Kireek then, as I havn't yet seen a positive post from him he seems to be a Conan San junior in the making.

Unless of course, he's Conan San using a different name. :p

Nah he's probably just a follower of Conan-san, he doesn't quite have the same psychotic rage schtick going on.

What would be perfect I think (but unlikely) would be for Lace/ADV UK to somehow renegotiate rights for the UK directly. Since some were so close to release I can only assume they had spent a fair bit of money preparing local versions of some of those titles already and it would be a shame if it scares them off the market once and for all.

I'd like to see NHK before I die, and Red Garden looked like an interesting random purchase I was holding out on until I knew it would all be out.

This is typical... I feel like I'm waiting for releases for months/years and then I'm told that series I've been waiting for (that have previously going to be released) have been cancled.

What annoyed me the most is that people were told in March? that the yhad tied up with lace to get these titles out only to then not do so............and on top of that realease vol 1 of pumkin and nothing else.
