ADV Films registered URLs for Kanon and Xenosaga

According to <a href="http://www.animeondvd.com/">AnimeOnDVD</a>, ADV Films have registered website URLs for two anime series; <em>Kanon (kanontv.com) </em>and <em>Xenosaga (xenosagatv.com)</em>. Given they have not formally confirmed these licenses, any concrete acquisitions are purely rumor, but it can at least be construed as a sign of ADV's interest in both series.

Many people will be especially curious about ADV's potential licensing of the harem soap-opera <em>Kanon </em>(which orginally appeared as an erotic Japanese dating sim), given this 2006 series (there was in fact a less popular version of Kanon animated in 2002) went down well with otaku during it's debut run in Japan.
 
Wooo. . .Haven't seen Kanon, probably would have seen the series by the time this DVD is released though.

I'm guessing Xmas 07

I have never heard of the other show. = (
 
I just knew this would happen. When I heard Air got licenced, the licencing of Kanon seemed inevitable. *does a happy dance*

I highly doubt it will be out this year. You have to take into account the licencing process and then the production and dubbing.
 
Xenosaga was a weaksause adapation and Kanon is Kanon and thus I would bite my tounge clean though to save my soul.

ADV could do a hell of a lot better than these two shows.

If ADV have actually licensed Kanon 2006 then they have made a great choice and it will sell very well.

That's what they said of Azumanga Daioh.

Also, Kanon 2k6 was only better than Kanon 2k2 because KyoAni didn't adhear to that stupid thing with the mouth being at like a centimeter from the nose and that the protagonist realy acted as if the whole thing was done with the silly answers being selected.

However, that's all canceled by the fact that KyoAni did this and Lucky Star as apposed to More Haruhi or FMP.

Ergo, Kanon Sucks and next person to Uggu to me will be on the receving end of a Hundred thunder crak fist
