Last night, I made the random decision to register at My Anime List. The intention of website is fairly clear, but I'll just add it's probably the best site I've found in terms of depth of content as well as interactivity - basically, imagine a site like AnimeNFO\crossed with Facebook or MySpace.

When I signed up, I was surprised to find there was already an Anime UK News club consisting of CitizenGeek, cultnirvana, harkins, hopeful_monster, Jayme, kupoartist, melonpan, Shirogetsu and Taylor.

Anyway, I signed up to keep track of all the anime I've watched, but it's a really good social networking site too. If you want to sign up, go ahead and we'll invite you to join the AUKN club on there. Just post on this thread (or leave a comment on our MAL profiles) and we'll add ya. Also, if you're already on there, speak up! :)
 
Shirogetsu is me btw, I just decided to change my name from Lupus Inu to Shirogetsu, Lupus Inu was getting a little old, Shirogetsu is of the now. Even though it's a good site and I go on it quite a bit the members are a little too... "happy" for my liking. :>

MAL is a great site, yes. The forums are exceptionally dull, but the clubs and communicating with other members are great fun! I suggest every anime fan join MAL! ^_^

Consider the problem rectified! :]

As for the NGE club, I'm an officer there. Before I starting inviting NGE fans to join, there was a mere 24 members. Meanwhile, clubs for fans of loli/moe and various other lesser anime had hundreds of members. I felt this was a great injustice and I set about 'fixing' the Eva club ;p Today we have over 330 members and one of the most active comment boards and forums of all the clubs on MAL ^_^

XD I know what you mean although I think i'm in a few XD *mostly cos I just accept all invites I get* nice work with the Eva club.
