Yo.

If people are unable to guess from the recent trend of intro threads, I am another vagabond from the decaying world.

To those from our former home, 'sup? :) I'm one of the four that was messaged by Broken.

For everyone else, in other words those who would welcome us to their forum, it's nice to meet you. I hope we can get along. :D

Thanks guys. Nice to see some familiar faces. :)

Indeed, Muu. Since I had devolved into an infrequent lurker of the forums, I rarely checked the threads; I'd only come on to check my private messages and the video games section. In fact, I only just saw the General Chat thread talking about the forum closure 10 minutes ago.

Having skimmed a few threads of this place, it seems quite friendly.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. :D And it's good to see you too, Spoon.

Devilrules, the Neo forum isn't dead yet, but it will be on February 22nd!

I realised I haven't really said anything about myself, so I'll use this post to remedy that.

I am in my 20s. Regarding anime, I enjoyed watching Sword Art Online, and am currently reading the light novels. I am up-to-date with One Piece, Hunter x Hunter (possibly my favourite anime), Fairy Tail, Uchuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers), and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, to name a few.

I also like watching American TV shows. I'm currently watching Young Justice, which I really wish Cartoon Network had chosen to renew after this (second) season! I also watch Blue Bloods, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Lost Girl, Supernatural, Arrow, and The Walking Dead.

My favourite book is Dune. I like Sci-Fi and Fantasy books. I've read The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, the first trilogy of the Sword of Shannara series by Terry Brooks, The Ender series, the first three Earthsea books, the Black Magician series by Trudi Canavan, and after reading Sword Art Online, I will start on the His Dark Materials trilogy which has been on my shelf for years.

I've never been to Japan, but I have been to the following countries: Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, and India.

So that's probably all you'd want to know about me, for now. If there's anything else, feel free to ask! :)

Welcome to our forums Rivaan!

One Piece is one of my favourites, Space Brothers is one I need to watch, but I never got along with Jojo's for reasons beyond my understanding.

Thanks!

I love the 'realism' of Space Brothers. It's a down-to-earth story (no pun intended), about two brothers following their dream, even if one of the brothers is in his 30s before he makes a start. Quite inspirational to me, who is making a late start following my dream in life (video games development, but first I'm gonna get a degree in computer science so I can set myself up with a good software engineering career, before looking at games on the side).

I love One Piece; it's also one of my favourites. As for Jojo, it took me a few (maybe 5-6) episodes to get into it, but now that I am, I love it! It's so over the top and it knows it. :D One anime that I couldn't get into, despite having watched 15 episodes and it seeming enjoyable enough, and being so popular in Japan, is Toriko.
