In yet another big day for UK anime DVD releases; today has seen no less than 11 anime-related DVDs flood onto UK shop shelves.<ul><b>21st March releases</b><span class="menu"><li>Chobits #1</li><li>Chrono Crusade #1</li><li>Digimon #2</li><li>Final Fantasy Unlimited #7</li><li>Gad Guard #2</li><li>Get Backers #2</li><li>Lady Death (ADV produced American animation in anime style)</li><li>Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi #3</li><li>Neon Genesis Evangelion - Movie Collection Box Set</li><li>Rune Soldier #5</li><li>Trigun #2</li></span></ul>Despite today being dominated by ADV's March releases, our personal picks from this fine selection are Trigun #2 from MVM and (if you don't own them already) the Neon Genesis Evangelion Movies Box Set (from Manga Ent.). And provided that you enjoy either cute, pretty cyborgs or nuns-with-guns; the long awaited UK debuts for Chobits and Chrono Crusade should respectively pique your interest. Also, according to forum user Valha; the Yu Yu Hakusho #1 release (including the LE edition) has been delayed for one week until the 28th of May.

Only 1 of these I was actually interested , Rune Soldier #5 , which arrived this morning and I just watched. Enjoyed this volume just as much as the others , silly , funny and more of the same.
 
Trigun #2 is the only show on that list that I would consider buying (especially if I already owned the Eva collection). Nothing really sticks out as being 'a must buy' this time though.

I'm curious about how some of you are able to afford all these DVDs every month? You must be going a long way to financing the whole UK anime industry! ;) Seriously, I commend you chaps for being such massive anime fans!

i quit smoking and don't drink very often. it's a price i'm willing to pay.

i could murder a beer right now. :?

seriously though, there are some pretty good releases there but i'm really looking forward to the April releases a bit more.
 
Well i work EVERYDAY with no days off and petter much all day ....
but i love anime if its what i need to do to get more of the stuff then im willing to do it.

Next month (next pay day)scares me i counted it up and i need to buy like 23 r2 dvds 0_0 ......... my poor bank acount

i still got to get 5 more dvds this month ( this payday) .....

see my avater thats going to be me when my bank statment comes in next month :)
 
Chobits #1 came on Saturday; I'll probably get Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi #3.....after I've got the first 2. :lol:

My dad got me Gad Guard and Get Backers vol 2 today! (well i persume he got me them, he didnt ask me to give him the money :?)

well, to make my anime collection even bigger, ill be buying all of these this month except for the eva movies, as i have them already.
As for april, now theres some awesome anime coming out then, and i will deffo be buying ALL of them :D

Lucky you! all my Dad ever bought me were socks :(

I'm hoping to get Gad Guard but we'll have to see as I've just treated myself to the first 4 volumes of Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers.
If you're into romance, get Hana Yori Dango :D

i strugle to get money, im like a petty old man saving up his money, everysingle peny i can find in the house, i take it ! (a bit like Silas Marner....LOL, if any of you have read it)
the dvd's i need to get are:
> Peacemaker vols 3-4
> Love Hina 5-6
> NGE Platinum 2
and the manga's are
> Samurai Deeper vols 9-11
> Negima 5
> A.I. Love you vols 4 and onwards!
> Hunter X Hunter, FMA, Naruto 6, are all on me pre-order list.
Damn, i really need to find a way to make money!!!!
(im a student, doin me GCSE's i cant get a job now!!!)
