This is why I've tended to pre-order. Limited quantities so don't want to miss something if it sells out. It's a shame that we're getting poor quality releases from now just AL but really across the board these days. MVM's titles have been plagued with issues over the past 18 months or so too.

This sounds about right. A lot of the English language Gundam releases were handled by RightStuf/Nozomi, and it's likely because they got folded into CR, those materials are no longer available. Yeah, considering AL handled promotion for theatrical, it's highly likely they'd do home video for it.

It must be seeing an uptick in popularity here as Sunnycon has a "Cosplay, Shibari and Photography" panel this year.

I've noticed ever since they were bought by Embracer that release quality and their communication to customers has really dropped off. I know it wasn't perfect before but it's definitely got worse. Also as a small company they never seemed to "get back to normal" after the pandemic lockdowns. We...

Feel your pain, I already booked a ticket for Lonely Castle but work has just organised a cross team away day in London for the 7th so I can no longer make it. Not the end of the world as I'd already seen it at SLA though. Need to look at booking for Demon Slayer if anywhere round here is...

I doubt it'd get a nationwide release here with it being a short. It's also still only done the festival circuit, and not had a nationwide release in Japan yet.

Just have to wait and see. From what I've seen everything since they reorganised Sunrise under Bandai Namco Filmworks has lacked English subs, so it might be a cost cutting thing.
