It's a similar style of event to MCM, yeah. Once upon a time, MCM didn't do anime & manga in a serious way. That then changed. Showmasters are going down the same path that MCM followed with this event.

Hope you guys don't mind me copying this press-release in here. This is big news! It's fantastic that Showmasters are starting to move into anime & manga in such a big way with voice actors like Vic Mignogna attending their show! ^_^

From what I hear, Ayacon are a very organised lot and run an excellent convention; I think they just aren't as proactive as us with getting all their information online. With regard to the ages, Alcon allows 16 and over, so it shouldn't be an issue signing up with us. ^_^
