Its complicated enough with the law here where it feels like walking on egg shells. If its illegal to look at such drawing then should they forbid the reading of texts that contain that material too? There's only so much the justice system can fit in so surely it would be better spent focusing...

I believe the issue was mainly about casting not so much there being a new dub. Most of the Dragon Ball Z cast got to return for Kai and bring with them the experience they had gained over the years and I prove the performance. The Evangelion cast won't get to do that, at least with the old show.

Haven't seen it as the series hasn't caught up in English yet. Will probably be on streaming by the time that happens as Toei are weird modern and forward thinking when distributing their movies but not the shows that give them context.
