I'm curious as to how you got a copy so early; especially seeing as the set was pushed back to the 22nd June 2015. (I don't recall seeing advance copies at MCM either). Either way nice purchase and that artbox looks great; but I agree shame about the Blu-ray banner.
Seeing Kill La Kill - Box 1 for £19.99 makes me glad I waited (And gutted for those that jumped at the £40 price-tag)... (although I did previously buy the bugged copy during Christmas sales)
Space Dandy - Season 1 (Standard Edition) is also down to £15.99; so if the artbook (and odd-looking...
I quite often double dip; i.e. buy the half-season sets and then sell-them in order to buy a complete series box set (if its announced). I did it with Bamboo Blade, Corpse Princess, Soul Eater, Ouran High School Hostess and a few others. I were going to do it with Birdy: Mighty Decode but I...
According to MVM's Twitter Accel World didn't sell very well on Blu-ray (which is quite surprising as I really liked it) and so they decided to skip a complete BD set.
Re: [UK Anime Distributor] Manga Entertainment Discussion Th
Manga UK have licensed Terra Formars for DVD and Blu-ray release; Part 1 is due out in August.
Manga have said it will be in two parts, so I assume Part 2 will be released by end of the year (strange that its being split into two...
When it was originally released (the anime classics version) it didn't have the MVM and BBFC logos on the disc; so maybe FUNimation, in partnership with MVM, did a reprint of the discs and chose to use the UK Disc Artwork (as opposed to discs with two different sets of artwork).
Wouldn't have thought so as Attack on Titan and Titan Attacks are different; (same words but presented differently).
I think the Humanity in Chains part was the reason it got a copyright claim put against the title; either that or its just an excuse.
Anyone else find it amusing how the DVD/BD...
I guess this only applies if you watched Dragon Ball Z Kai during its initial Japanese broadcast (or if you imported Parts 1 to 4 of Dragon Ball Z Kai on release day in America); otherwise (unless you know about the change) you probably wouldn't notice.
Either-way I prefer the original music...
Re: [UK Anime Distributor] Manga Entertainment Discussion Th
So MangaUK's surprise announcement was non-other than Dragon Ball Z Kai being released on DVD and Blu-ray; well I "sort-of" guessed correctly (as its still part of the Dragon Ball Z universe) haha.
I guess MVM are wanting to shift some stock; as Part 2 sets for Needless, Shana Season 2 and Regios are currently £4.99 each on their Anime-On-Line store.
It could still be there; they had Kill La Kill - Box 1 at the last MCM Comic Con and that was several weeks/months before official release (same applies to Space Dandy).
Re: [UK Anime Distributor] Manga Entertainment Discussion Th
I think in actuality the 'amazing' announcement was for the UK DVD and Blu-ray release of Nisekoi; but for whatever reason Bleach was tweeted (auto-tweet perhaps?) - that was my initial thought anyway as they were teasing Nisekoi at...
ADV had the TV Series, which we all know is defunct other than 101 Anime re-releasing a few shows on DVD (and more recently a BD that's a copy of Sentai Filmworks US Release). MangaUK had the movies...
Basically Anime Limited getting hold of the TV Series (for DVD re-release or even Blu-ray...
