Eureka Seven feels like more of a risk to me, too. The other series are seinen-orientated, but Eureka Seven is definitely shonen. It's an odd choice.

Spent the last few weeks winding my way through the second & third seasons of Haikyu!!. Only 2 episodes left now and I'll be all caught up. I still think this is one of the best (traditional) sports anime ever made (up there with Hajime no Ippo), but it's all starting to feel a little repetitive...

I've watched every episode of It's Always Sunny multiple times. Andrew watches it. I wouldn't be so sure that there's no crossover appeal; there's evidence right here that there is.
