Play USA for £17.99
Aion, thats the one of the main reasons I ordered it - it doesn't feature any high school girls, am already super bored with all those kind of shows.
before I bought the Platinum Tin I had a bootleg of Evangelion. It had the whole series, Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion over 4 discs. All the imagery on the packaging was taken from the covers of the manga version. For a bootleg is was surprisingly professional looking.
£42.99 is the standard price that I have seen - even HMV have it listed at this price, and they still sell boxsets like Last Exile for upto £60 when I got mine for £17 on sendit.com!
£42 is a great price for a series that is over 26eps long, and theres an art book with it. Its a shame that...
I recently watched it for the first time and I really enjoyed it - it has a really epic heroic journey quality to it, and as has been previously stated you end up really caring for each and every character. I didn't really think the ending was rushed as the final climactic battle was stretched...
I'm not that big a fan of Hentai, but I would like to check this out - if only for the design...

But I guess thats like saying I only read porn mags for the articles?
The guy who used to do the voiceover for the adverts!!! He sounded like he was on speed most of the time - used to always love the original advert for Ninja Scroll, I think that was his best work.
the X one is good - looks like they are following the US version in terms of design. The Desert Punk one is pretty boring though, and the Gunparade March one.
Yes it did - the first four episodes came out on two videos, one of the first crop of titles that Manga ever released I think. Then in 95/96 there were 3 more volumes that ended the series. I managed to keep hold of all my 3x3 Eyes vids, its not the most amazing series in the world but its worth...
I really wish I could remember what that site was that I found! It listed every release, and it even went on to list all the releases that were incomplete (Ambassador Magma, Devil Hunter Yoko, etc) and also how much footage was cut from titles like Urotsukidoji and Angel Cop.
hey Kaede! I think we are anime-fan-twins!! I remember and also owned all of the titles you listed, though my vast collection of VHS drastically diminished once I left for uni and my mother deceided to "clear up" my stuff.
There was a site that I found on a google search which listed all the...
I second the Vampire Princess Miyu recommendation - though I mean the OAV series, have not seen the TV series yet.
Hellsing is of course solid gold vampire anime, just steer clear of Vampire Wars (or Vampire Sensou as its called in Unellmay's list) - its a pile o' crap.
Oh, and then theres...
I voted Gankutsuou - it would be nice to see Macross Frontier but I understand the licensing is a ****-storm of problems, and also I would like to see if When They Cry could survive the BBFC
new artwork for Darker Than Black, Vols.3&4 - probably change like the last one though, right?
