I only saw it recentley (with the release of ADV's new set) which imo helped it immensley, it's one to watch once you've seen a lot of other robot animes otherwise the parodys and purposefull genericness of the plots can be lost on viewers. The early pilot (Gai?) was my favourite character...

I've only watched the first episode so far and I was a bit dissapointed, sad to say that I wasn't expecting that much in the first place. Trailers made it look like a mix of Appleseed and I robot and that seems to be what it is. Going to watch some more, I hope it's good as there isn't much...

Now this looks like fun, on the go personal commentary. I am sitting here waiting for my mate to reply to my holler on msm, listening to a completely random selection of music from my big folder full o' super robot wars albums and lamenting how hard it is to meet people in Londons daily...

The tins will be the same as the american ones, we're only misisng out on the first one because MVM got started a bit too late. If you buy an american vol.1 set to get the first tin you'll also get the first soundtrack cd which wont be inculded with the UK special editions.

Ouch, slow week but at least it's quality stuff.

I'm very pleased that MVM have at least tried, ok they couldn't get tin 1 but it sounds like that was due to factors beyond their control. I just ordered an R1 set in addition to mu UK discs and will flog the american dvd when it arrives. Point of this post however was to ask if anyone knows...
