    Macross? Robotech? I need guidance!

As far as I know, it's still unlicensed. ADV may already have it and are just taking their time with the restoration and dub; it's likely to be one job they want to get right. If they don't yet have it, they're likely in the middle of an intense bidding war for licensing rights. Hopefully we'll...

    Macross? Robotech? I need guidance!

Here's one I prepared earlier. Robotech is well worth watching, but for the real deal import Macross from the States or try to find Do Yo Remember Love. I remain hopeful that ADV will bring the original series over, but it's not looking too likely at the moment.

    TV Drama Recommendations

Firefly is great, easily one of the best sci-fi shows of the past decade. Watching the entire series first also makes the movie Serenity much more enjoyable. Six Feet Under is incredibly surreal at times, but bloody funny. If you like dark humour, look it out. If you can track it down, the...

    Neverwinter Nights

It's a good game, but for best results take it online. Playing through the campaigns with a party of friends is great fun, and there's a ton of great third-party modules to be found as well. Try http://nwvault.ign.com/ for some of the best addons.

    Oban Star-Racers trailer

So it does in fact have nothing to do with Oban? For some reason, that's both a disappointment and a relief ;)

Sony says no to PS3 pre-owned games

Apparently it's all a filthy horrible lie.

    Underrated retro classics?

Just realised I forgot to add me own games to the list. So here we go, a couple off the top of my head: Psycho Fox and Alex Kidd in Shinobi World on the Master System, Tetris Attack and Super Mario RPG on the SNES, Paper Mario and Blast Corps on the N64, and The Dig and the Little Big Adventures...

    Underrated retro classics?

Sadly, I think anything older than a PS2 is now considered as retro. This includes your PS1s, N64s and Dreamcasts.

The game all retro fans have been waiting for

Picked this up at the weekend. Its bloody brilliant, a great tribute to the glory days. Get it out before it vanishes without a trace.

    The E3 Thread

Yeah, and it was still the best trailer at the show :) At least there´s a bit more substance in this year´s trailer.

    The E3 Thread

They did. It was called the PlayStation, a CD addon to the SNES, like the MegaCD. Then Nintendo chose to pull the plug at the last moment, and Sony decided to go it alone. Whoops. I was rather impressed with Ninty´s lineup too, particularly the DS titles. Especially now that I know Ouendan...

    The E3 Thread

With E3 now in full swing, it´s time to ask what everyone thinks are the highlights so far. A few of mine: Final Fantasy VI for GBA Guitar Hero 2 announced Metal Gear Solid 4 Unreal Tournament 2007 About half of the entire Nintendo stand Sony´s revolutionary new PS3 controller...

Nintendo Revolution has a new name!

The guys here at work aren´t too impresed either. We´ve got some pretty hardcore Nintendo fanboys, and even they´re struggling to like it. Still holding out hope that it´s all an elaborate hoax, but as it´s appearing on all the official sites, it´s not looking likely

OMG! FIRST SCREENS OF REVOLUTION GAME!

Apparently it's not the final version - Sony have decided to redesign it due largely to that kind of reaction. The shape is probably going to be very different, and rumour has it that the final one will have motion technology similar to that found in the Revolutions. One thing's for certain -...

    Reco's? please?

Escaflowne would be my first recommendation, but you could also try Full Metal Panic, Cowboy Bebop, R.O.D or Tenchi Muyo. More Ghibli stuff is also recommended, particuarly Porco Rosso, Nausicaa and Laputa Castle in the Sky. And Castle of Cagliostro.

    Gamecube getting the cut?!

This is the first I've heard, but I don't completely buy it. While the downsizing of the Cube's section is inevitable, I'd be very surprised if they did away with it altogether before the launch of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Zelda titles are known to shift consoles, so I don't think GAME would...

    Gundam SEED opinions

The horrible irony is that if enough people buy this one, they may actually do just that, and yet no-one will buy the movie because they keep hearing how bad it is...

    Gundam SEED opinions

If you liked them, then by all means give it a shot. It's well worth watching if you like mecha anime, and is also a good introduction to the Gundam franchise. Give the reviews on this site a look too, they might prove helpful. You could also give the original Gundam movie trilogy a go as...

    Probing your brains...

Akira or Blade of the Immortal. Both are pretty lengthy, and not at all friendly on the wallet, but they're great reads and seem to be what you're after.

    oh hell yeah. GUITAR HERO!

Picked it up on Saturday, spent the whole weekend playing it, and now I'm at work with the songs stuck in my head, wishing I was playing it. It's been entirely too long since a game's had this kind of hold on me - totally worth it. :D Anyone else rocking out?
