Can confirm that Toho's USA BD of My Hero Academia: You're Next is region free. Subtitle options are English dubtitles, SDH, French and Spanish. The OVA is in Japanese with only English SDH subs, Pre-film theater manners is dubbed only with English texts.

Progressive DVDs are in an interlaced container with soft-pulldown flags. SD on BD can also be encoded like that (e.g. Mrs. Pepperpot SDBD).

Nothing yet. The season 2 dub has not been released yet on CR. If you don't need the dub, you may want to consider the Japanese volumes with English subs. Got a used set of season 2 recently for around 7000 yen before shipping from Mandarake.

correction: Kaboom Anime is an event organized by the Kaboom Animation Film Festival which is the successor to KLIK! and HAFF. These two festivals were around for a long time. Good to know that I can see GE999 in Amsterdam or Utrecht. A few weeks ago I only saw a listing for Groningen.
