Now I know, also, it's not that big a deal anyway.
However, I'd like to make an official statement to anyone who cares:
I, Yuvie, would like to make a wholehearted apology to anyone who was offended by my double post which I replaced with the term 'bla'. I'm deeply sorry if there's anyone...
Gasaraki 7/10
I was always quite eager to see this series and I managed to pick the set up cheap fairly recently. I'm not the biggest fan of mecha anime but I've been keeping an open mind and have started to appreciate them a little more now, as long as they're done properly. This series has...
Without a doubt, the character that got to me most, more than any other was that whore Naru from Love Hina. I only wish they could have used her as cannon fodder in something like Gantz.
I can understand where you're coming from. As you know, I'm still pretty new to manga so I haven't massively got into or even come close to completing a series yet. Therefore, I can't get into debates over the whole manga/anime issue yet. Berserk will probably be the first tester of that though...
I'll just have to remain ignorant to the manga for now because there's no chance of getting the series in manga format and I'm definately not reading online. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the first two volumes of the manga but I just haven't continued from there.
I'm not too hung up over...
Cheers Chaos!
Amen to that Stuntman Rob. I can relate to that review. There's plenty of anime out there that's more adult orientated. Texhnolyze is one of those for sure. Such a great series.
Arionic: Surely GTO deserves a 9. There's plenty of material and it stays solid throughout. I've...
I'd recommend the manga which I'm enjoying a hell of a lot so far. I just hope it stays good and doesn't start to fade in the later volumes. To anyone who reads it, how are the latest volumes of Berserk (Vol 20 onwards)?
As for the anime, I'm in a similar situation. I'm thinking I'll just...
It really depends. I'd say I normally tend to watch your average 26 epsiode anime series in a week and that's usually over the weekend.
If it's anime I'm not that interested in (which is usually something my girl is interested in), I could watch 3-4 episodes a day during the week. As for my...
I started off with anime and am only really just getting into manga. So yeah, if I had to I'd pick anime over manga.
The only exception to that rule has been Berserk, I'm firmly faithful to the manga and I will stick to that as I'm having so much fun with the series. Although I hear the...
Tenchi: The TV series & Tenchi Forever 7/10
A fairly enjoyable series that has it's moments but nothing that special. I'm fairly new to Tenchi and though I enjoyed the series, I'm not desperate to go out and get the other Tenchi products out there. More than anything, Tenchi brought me back to...
Damn Aion, you sold those titles well. Nice post!
Anyway, I'm not into watching anything much on the computer so I own all my titles. Plus I'm a bit of an avid collector. Onto my list:
1. Ghost in the Shell: SAC - My first proper anime 'series' purchase since then I've been hooked. I own...
fabricatedlunatic: Maybe I was a little harsh on 'His and her cirumstances'. It did start well but it did become quite annoying and boring in the later episodes.
I actually enjoyed Love hina to start with but it really did become pretty damn annoying during the mid-episodes onwards. Keitaro...
Oh and one more before I go.
His and her circumstances 2/10
Dull, dull, long drawn out, um'in & ah'in love story. Silly at times. Great for insomniacs and girls. Terrible ending.
You know who's ruling the tv time in this household atm.
Love Hina 4/10
Probably spoilers ahead for anyone who cares. Maybe I'm being a little harsh. Well, the series probably wasn't aimed at my kind of audience. My partner bought the series so I thought I might as well be an anime purist and give it a go. I had the same experience with Fruits basket...
Stuntman Rob: I'd recommend the two novels, Boogiepop at dawn & Boogiepop & others if you enjoyed the anime. If you can't do that then just find out what happens in them on wikipedia or somewhere like that, I guess you could call them the prequels to the series. Anyway, it makes it a lot less...
